Clean Air For Public Schools
Schools across Bucks and Montgomery County are plagued by long-term facility underinvestments that put teachers, students, and other staff, at risk of being exposed to a number of hazards related to inadequate air handling, including: SARS-CoV-2, other pathogens, asbestos, lead, high levels of CO2, temperature extremes, and other environmental pollutants. Be it further resolved that Caleb C will serve as the current chair and that key strategic decisions will go through the BuxMont DSA Steering Committee. Be it further resolved that the campaign will have access to all chapter resources needed to carry out its tasks and responsibilities, including communications (social media, bulletins, phone-banking, mass-text, etc.) resources.
Be it finally resolved, that the campaign shall have a duration of 12 months and will submit a report to the general membership and Steering Committee in December 2025. This report may take the form of a written report regarding its successes and failures to the general membership and Steering Committee in December 2025; and/or a verbal and visual presentation and Q&A session on the same subject during the Winter 2025 branch membership meeting, at the discretion of the campaign. At this time, the campaign will include in its report recommendations to the general membership on how BuxMont DSA can best proceed with this campaign in the future and whether the campaign should be renewed.
